Senior Operations Support Engineer H/F

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Operations Support Engineer in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Strasbourg, France. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Tasks:

• Manage high-severity and complex incidents across interconnected systems, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.;
• Lead technical investigations, root-cause analyses and post-incident reviews, ensuring that corrective and preventive actions are implemented;
• Define and refine monitoring strategies, establish performance baselines and thresholds, and optimise observability for proactive issue detection;
• Coordinate preventive-maintenance initiatives and environment optimization, ensuring compliance with the operational and security baselines;
• Validate deployment plans, rollback procedures and testing strategies in collaboration with DevSecOps and Database Administration teams., experts and consultants (around 3% PhD, 36% MSc and 53% BSc or equivalent). We design and develop software applications using state-of-the-art technology. The group generates annual revenues in the range of EURO 40 million, with an EBITDA in the range of 20%.
