Job description

The Data Integration Dev Ops Engineer will work to deliver and support data platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience integrating data sets from wide variety of sources, developing, and managing integration processes & supporting Integration /MDM platforms. The candidate will work closely with client project leads and data architects to develop and support integration solutions. The candidate will spend at least 50% of their time in production support / monitoring / coordination and troubleshooting activities. This is a pure hands-on role. Experience with ETL Integration Tools like Informatica, AWS Services is a must., * Develop Data Integrations using ETL Tools like Informatica and AWS Services

  • Develop design documentation, Installation Guides and Release Notes for all development efforts.
  • Monitor the ETL / MDM daily operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in test and production environments.
  • Coordinate with project teams / admins / Infrastructure teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in ETL Tools like Informatica (Informatica Developer is a plus) using disparate data sources such as flat files, databases, xml files and/or unstructured data & web services
  • 5+ years’ experience in supporting ETL applications in DevOps capacity
  • 5+ years’ experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, Red Shift etc.)
  • Strong in Unix shell scripting
  • Experience as Informatica Administrator is a plus
  • Understanding with Big Data Technologies (Spark, Informatica BDM etc.) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently and as a key contributor in a distributed team environment
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical industry - Experience with Clinical Trials Data, Real World Data, Claims Data is a plus.
  • Experience in working with Validated Data Integrations is a big plus.
