Job description

Do you have strong knowledge across Data and AI and a genuine passion for sharing that expertise with the next generation? If you love breaking down complex topics, supporting learners to build confidence, and inspiring people to explore the world of analytics, machine learning and emerging technologies, this role could be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Planning and delivering teaching, learning and assessment through classroom, workplace and online sessions
  • Creating high-quality learning materials and resources
  • Ensuring programmes meet awarding body and funding requirements
  • Building strong relationships with learners, employers and stakeholders
  • Supporting learners to develop skills, achieve their goals and progress
  • Managing a learner caseload and supporting recruitment into programmes
  • Reviewing learner progress, setting targets and providing IAG
  • Monitoring attendance, achievement and satisfaction
  • Engaging employers in progress reviews and programme updates
  • Supporting internal/external audits, moderation and Ofsted preparation
  • Maintaining accurate learner records and producing timely reports
  • Actively contributing to quality improvement processes
  • Using IT systems confidently, including Microsoft Office

Requirements

  • Occupational competence in Data, AI, or a related digital discipline
  • A teaching qualification (DTLLS/CertEd/Level 5 Diploma) - or willingness to work towards it
  • Assessor qualification (A1/CAVA/D32/33) - or willingness to achieve
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Data sources, formats, cleansing and validation
  • Data analysis, visualisation and reporting tools
  • Ethical, legal and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, AI ethics)
  • AI concepts, automation tools and responsible adoption
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse learners
  • Confident using digital tools, automation platforms and data technologies
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
