SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 Developer (Hybrid | Contract-to-Hire / Direct Hire)

The SAP Fiori Developer is a hands-on technical role within the coils manufacturing industry SAP Center of Excellence (COE). This position goes beyond pure coding; the developer will actively partner with cross-functional teams to design, enhance, and support secure, scalable user experience solutions across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and other business areas., 1. SAP Fiori & SAPUI5 Development Design, build, and extend custom, role-based, and responsive UI5 applications. Configure and maintain the Fiori Launchpad (spaces, pages, tiles) alongside Basis and Security. Troubleshoot front-end runtime, performance, and browser compatibility issues.

1. Backend Integration & ABAP Extensions Build and enhance OData services using SAP Gateway and leverage CDS views for reporting/analytics. Develop ABAP objects (classes, enhancements, forms, workflows) using clean core principles and S/4HANA extensibility patterns. Review legacy code to modernize, simplify, or retire custom objects.

2. Business Partnership & Technical Design Collaborate with SAP functional leads (RTR, EWM, PTP, etc.) to evaluate standard vs. custom solutions. Translate functional specifications into clear technical designs and architectures.

3. Support, Testing, & Governance Own end-to-end troubleshooting across UI, OData, ABAP, and authorization layers. Support all testing phases (unit, SIT, UAT), manage defect resolution, and handle release readiness/transports. Maintain technical documentation and object inventories according to ciols manufacturing industry COE standards.

7+ years of hands-on SAP technical development experience. Deep expertise in SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and SAP Gateway / OData service development. Strong backend skills in ABAP (classes, reports, debugging) and exposure to S/4HANA technical architecture. Proven track record of translating functional requirements into technical solutions and supporting full-lifecycle production environments. Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills.
