As a Technical Program Manager at Google, youāll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Youāll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Youāre equally comfortable explaining your teamās analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $163000 - $237000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits, * Partner with finance stakeholders, including Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and process owners, to understand business tests, processes, and opportunities for AI and data-driven solutions.
- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements, solution designs, and project roadmaps, considering the key AI/ML capabilities.
- Lead and manage the lifecycle of technical projects, encompassing discovery, design, prototyping, development, integration, testing, launch, and ongoing monitoring.
- Build and iterate on prototypes that can serve as the foundational design for development.
- Connect insights and opportunities across different finance functions and technical initiatives to maximize impact and efficiency.
Requirements
Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area., * Bachelorās degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience using AI to prototype and iterate designs for final development.
- Experience managing the software development lifecycle and shipping technical products., * 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience working within or with finance domains (e.g., accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, procure-to-pay).
- Knowledge of data architecture, data warehousing, data governance, and business intelligence principles.
- Ability to influence without direct authority and drive consensus across cross-functional and executive stakeholders.
- Excellent investigative, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
