Job description

As a Data Privacy Steward, you will support the data privacy activities established by the respective Hub Steering Committee and approved by the Publicis Groupe Chief Data Privacy Officer. You will help identify, catalogue, monitor and audit data assets across applicable channels, while working closely with teams across the business to drive continuous improvements in data privacy, governance and security. Responsibilities

  • Support client teams by answering questions related to GDPR, data privacy and data security in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate the resolution of client concerns together with Privacy Champions, the Groupe Data Privacy Office, the Global Security Office, the Data Privacy Program Lead and relevant business teams.
  • Assist in coordinating local data privacy training and act as a voice for the local market’s privacy-related needs.
  • Document vendors and proprietary systems used per client and ensure relevant information is kept on file.
  • Identify hub-owned proprietary systems and the data contained within them, and help ensure local systems are assessed for GDPR compliance.
  • Facilitate privacy and security assessments, including Privacy Impact Assessments, together with system owners and the Data Privacy Program Lead.
  • Monitor the implementation of recommendations from Privacy Champions and the Groupe Data Privacy Office.
  • Identify local vendors used on behalf of clients, understand the services provided and help prioritize contract updates where needed.
  • Support quality standards, reporting, analysis and audits to ensure adherence to data governance, data privacy and information security policies.
  • Work closely with the Data Privacy Program Lead to support market, country or brand privacy strategies within the hub.

Requirements

  • You have a solid understanding of data concepts such as master data management, data governance, data profiling and data cataloguing.
  • You are familiar with data management and have experience working with data development, engineering or data science teams.
  • You understand the digital data, ad tech, analytics, programmatic performance, audience and ad verification landscape.
  • You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • You are able to quickly and effectively adapt to new technologies and tools outside your current experience.
  • You have solid program management skills and communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing.
  • You are comfortable coordinating with stakeholders across different levels of the business, including technical teams, system owners and business teams.
