Job description
PENNEP is seeking an experienced Epic Tapestry Builder to join our client’s dynamic team. This role will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and supporting Epic Tapestry solutions across Enrollment & Eligibility, Premium Billing, and Benefits Configuration. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, operational teams, and technical resources to ensure successful system configuration and readiness for key implementation milestones.
This position will play a critical role in supporting:
Open Enrollment Go-Live: November 1, 2026
Benefits & Premium Billing Go-Live: January 1, 2027
The successful candidate will possess strong Epic Tapestry configuration expertise, healthcare payer operations knowledge, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced implementation environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Build and support Epic Tapestry Enrollment & Eligibility configurations.
- Configure Benefits, products, and coverage plans.
- Configure and maintain Premium Billing functionality.
- Gather and translate business requirements into system solutions.
- Perform system build, testing, and defect resolution.
- Troubleshoot and support production issues.
- Collaborate with business, operational, and technical teams.
- Create and maintain configuration documentation.
- Support Open Enrollment, Benefits, and Premium Billing go-lives.
- Ensure solutions align with Epic best practices and business requirements.
Requirements
- Experience building and configuring Epic Tapestry applications in payer environments.
- Strong understanding of Enrollment & Eligibility processes and workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Benefits configuration and product setup.
- Experience configuring and supporting Premium Billing functionality.
- Knowledge of healthcare payer operations, membership management, and benefit administration.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions.
- Experience with testing, validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional project teams.
- Experience supporting implementation and go-live activities in large-scale healthcare systems.

Education:
Require a bachelor’s degree in a related field., * Epic Tapestry Builder: 5 years (Required)

Benefits & conditions
$65 - $70 an hour - Contract

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
