Senior R&D Software Developer (C# / C++)

In this role, you will work on Control Emulation products - software that enables customers to create digital twins of their Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) at their industrial facilities. This is a hands-on software development role where you will work closely with the software architect to develop, maintain, and improve existing control emulation products., * Develop and maintain existing control emulation software products

• Collaborate with the software architect on design decisions
• Perform technical troubleshooting, analysis, and root cause diagnosis of product issues
• Develop workarounds and fixes for identified product issues
• Document activities and findings in configuration management systems
• Attend regular team meetings and provide updates on current work progress

• BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 5+ years of professional programming experience in both C/C++ and C#
• Proficient in Visual Studio development environment
• 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a virtual, multi-site team environment
• Experience with task-based configuration management tools (Azure DevOps, Git)

Nice to Have / Preferred

• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Familiarity with Schneider Electric EcoStruxure products
• Experience with AVEVA Dynamic Simulation software
• Knowledge of AVEVA System Platform, including Wonderware InTouch/OMI
• Experience developing software for deployment on Azure or AWS
• Familiarity with networked systems including workstations, servers, and switches, * Do you have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering?
