IT Systems Audit Manager

We are seeking an IT Systems Audit Manager to join our team. You will apply accounting principles to help management make informed decisions while leading and executing complex accounting and audit projects. You will manage day-to-day project activities, interface with clients, and ensure all deliverables meet regulatory, contractual, and performance requirements. This position is fully remote; however, it will require frequent travel to Fort Belvoir, VA., * Accounting and Advisory Expertise: Applies accounting principles, laws, and standards to analyze issues, solve complex problems, and support management decision-making.

• Project Leadership and Management: Designs, implements, and manages accounting or audit projects, oversees daily activities, and ensures tasks are completed within budget, timeline, and performance constraints.
• Engagement Planning and Execution: Participates in engagement planning, carries out assigned tasks, and guides teams through project execution with an emphasis on quality and compliance.
• Client Interaction and Relationship Management: Interfaces directly with clients, collaborates with teams to develop solutions, leads meetings, and delivers presentations to communicate status, findings, and recommendations.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Reviews work products for completeness and adherence to regulations, customer requirements, and performance work statement (PWS) obligations.

• A bachelor’s degree in related business or technical field
• A minimum of six (6) years of applicable financial or business experience, including at least two (2) years with the government leading and providing technical direction on audit and/or audit advisory projects.
• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations
• Knowledgeable in OMB Circulars A-123, Management’s Responsibility for Internal Control; A-127, Financial Management Systems; A-134, Financial Accounting Principles and Standards; and the Federal Information Systems Controls Audit Manual requirements
• Experience working with DoD/DLA
• Skilled in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.)
• Excellent analytical and writing skills.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess a DoD Secret clearance.
