Job description

  • Identify ways to utilize information systems and technologies for enhancing the company’s operations.
  • Sustain and enhance the business applications running on our computer systems, including Oracle, Label printing (Loftware), EDI Processing, and custom applications.
  • Create ad-hoc queries and/or programs using SQL.
  • Support the PC applications managed by the IT department, such as MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, etc.
  • Collaborate with different departments to improve, test, and implement enhancements to existing applications/modules.
  • Participate in the design, development, testing, training, and deployment of new applications/modules.
  • Participate in projects and project teams as necessary.
  • Develop, train others on, and maintain application procedures for our supported systems.
  • Stay current in the field by attending appropriate training sessions and seminars.
  • Aid in enhancing and documenting standards and practices related to IT general computer controls and procedures.
  • Work with team members to ensure high-quality customer support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Over 15 years of experience in Information Technology within an Oracle ERP/CRM/Financials environment in automotive OEM and supplier industries.
  • Expertise in industry best practices for end-to-end business processes like order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, financials, and planning.
  • Preferably experienced in Oracle R12.2 upgrade and at least two full lifecycle Oracle Implementation projects in Oracle R12.2.x.
  • Proficient in ad-hoc SQL queries and knowledgeable in EBS application with a focus on Oracle R12.2.x.
  • Experience in setting up EDI transactions for Customers and Suppliers in Oracle.
  • Familiarity with AIM Methodology and adept in designing requirements for RICE.
  • Stay current in the field.

Physical Demands Analysis:

  • Prolonged sitting at a desk
  • Continuous computer tasks involving keyboarding, mouse usage, and screen viewing
  • Occasional standing and walking
  • Capability to lift desktop computers, monitors, and printers up to 40 lbs.
  • Periodic climbing stairs, bending, and stooping
  • Wearing Personal Protective Equipment as required by safety regulations
