Job description

  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot firmware for embedded systems
  • Serve as the interface between hardware components (sensors) and software systems
  • Integrate and implement sensors within the broader system architecture
  • Support system sustainment, enhancements, and performance improvements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with software, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams
  • Work with technologies including STM32 microcontrollers, CAN bus, and Raspberry Pi (in transition)
  • Operate as the primary firmware engineer on the team, driving ownership and accountability

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 4-8 years of experience in firmware or embedded systems development
  • U.S. work authorization required (U.S. Citizen, Green Card, or Permanent Resident)
  • Willingness to travel for initial onboarding/training
