IT Department Specialist I

To complete a variety of specialized duties that support the functional operations. The duties in the department specialist job family focus on tasks and/work that are unique to the department and require knowledge and skills that are beyond what are required for general office work., * Support of technical services and system applications deployed within the Distribution Center.

• Responds to inquiries in area of responsibility.
• Involved in the resolution of outages or incidents in accordance with established procedures.
• Collects data/information for Systems Support Department use in special projects or reports.
• Collaborate with IT to support and maintenance of all IT, Hardware, Software, Networks, Servers, Etc. As well as end user assistance.
• Updates information and reports typically on the computer.
• Checks information for accuracy.
• Answers Systems Support Department phones as needed and routes to appropriate area.
• Reviews information/data and makes decisions within defined guidelines, parameters, and instruction.
• Examines and prioritizes documents to determine work to be completed or best course of action.
• Collects information for specific department reports.
• Creates and maintains complex reports.
• Compiles minor statistical data
• Checks own work for accuracy.

• High School Diploma or GED., * Reading, writing, math and communication skills at a proficient level
• Ability to follow verbal or written instruction.
• Be proficient with Windows applications including Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Be detail oriented, ability to be organized, and have strong analytical skills.
• Requires the analytical ability to handle administrative duties and mental alertness to ensure accurate, safe and thorough completion of work activities.
