Job description

“As a member of the Regional Applications Agile Release Train (ART) of the Missile Defense National Team for Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) (aka C2BMC NT), this position will primarily analyze test data to help verify the system design.

Additionally, the candidate will support the software development team with verifying requirements with automated verification and testing tools. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience in analysis and testing of a software-intensive system in a variety of test environments/venues, utilizing Agile development. This position will require a strong, self-starting individual capable of diving into problems with assistance from other test engineers and software developers.

Essential Functions:

  • Will assist the software development team in verifying requirements using automated verification and testing tools
  • Will possess knowledge and experience in the analysis and testing of a software-intensive system across a variety of test environments/venues, using Agile development
  • This position will require a strong, self-starting individual capable of diving into problems, with assistance from other test engineers and software developers

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master’s degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
  • Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start
  • Occasional travel between Colorado Springs facilities and sites (LM Federal Drive facility to Schriever SFB) and between Colorado Springs and Huntsville, AL.
  • Experience with automated testing for requirement verification
  • Exposure to programming languages such as Java and C#
  • Prior experience testing and verifying requirements for software applications and systems
  • Conducting an analysis of collected data
  • Development of action plans based on data analysis
  • Documenting software deficiency reports
  • Presenting analysis results and action plans verbally and/or in written formats such as slides, annotated slides, or test report documents
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively within a small technical team, * Applicants with a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, etc.) at the time of application are highly preferred, or the certification must be obtained within 40 days of the start date. The candidate is responsible for maintaining their DoD 8140 certification throughout the entire contract period
  • Prior experience in an Agile development process
  • Performance requirement and verification analysis
  • Verification of ICD and interface requirements
  • Experience in a DevSecOps environment is extremely desirable”
