Job description

The Embedded Imaging Software Engineer will develop software for embedded imaging devices, including camera control, image processing, device communication, and application software. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with hardware, optics, and AI engineers on next-generation imaging products. The ideal candidate enjoys working across software, hardware, and imaging technologies in a fast-paced startup environment., * Develop embedded and application software for imaging devices.

  • Develop software tools for camera control and image acquisition.
  • Implement image processing and computer vision functions using OpenCV and related technologies.
  • Develop software for device communication (USB, Wi-Fi, BLE, SPI, UART, etc.).
  • Support software integration, testing, and product validation.
  • Support prototype development and product commercialization.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Participate in software design reviews and continuous product improvement.
  • Prepare technical documentation as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
  • Experience developing software for embedded systems or hardware devices.
  • Experience with OpenCV and/or image processing.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with STM32 or ARM-based embedded systems.
  • Experience with camera or imaging products.
  • Familiarity with AI or machine learning applications.
  • Experience with biomedical or medical device software.
  • Experience using Git version control., * Bachelor’s (Required)
