Job description

  • Take a leadership role in establishing Infotainment system & software level requirements to meet current & future customer expectations.
  • Propose relevant solutions, architectures & approaches for project opportunities in Android Automotive based IVI & estimate the efforts for implementing the solutions.
  • Provide technical directions to a team of product/program managers, architects and engineers executing Infotainment projects.
  • Ensure effective communication across stakeholders and contributors.

Requirements

Do you have experience in System design?, * 10 to 15 years of experience in Infotainment Product Development.

  • Experience in handling the role of solution architect for mid/large size IVI production programs in Infotainment from RFQ to SOP stages.
  • Experience in working with multiple OEMs/Tier1s for creating IVI system/software requirements and specifications.
  • Hands on experience in designing & developing solutions for IVI platforms based on Android Automotive OS, Linux, QNX, preferably on Qualcomm SoC based platforms.
  • Experience with Stand-alone IVI and Domain Controller based architectures.
  • Experience on design & development of Infotainment features such as Multimedia, Smartphone Projection, Audio, Navigation, Vehicle Information, Connectivity, Phone, Diagnostics, Video & Camera, System Health etc.
  • Should have a solid understanding & experience in defining Infotainment System & Software Architectures & interface requirements to meet the system requirements.
  • Should be able to identify key technologies necessary to fulfil the IVI system requirements & utilize these technologies in the system design.
  • Understanding of Android Automotive OS Architecture, sub-system components, binder IPC, Car Framework, VHAL, SELinux etc.
  • Familiarity & understanding of communication interfaces used in automotive (CAN, LIN, Bluetooth, WiFi, USB, Automotive Ethernet, Display interfaces etc.).
  • Knowledge in Automotive software development processes (ASPICE, AGILE etc.), Cockpit/IVI test environments, complete product development cycles.
  • Knowledge of CyberSecurity & Functional Safey concepts.
  • Should be able to verbally communicate the customer needs & system architecture across different levels of the product organization.
  • Good Analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills with a positive attitude towards work.

Desirable skills

  • Knowledge of Hypervisor-based systems handling mixed critical workloads.
  • Understanding of Classic and Adaptive AUTOSAR.
  • Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and SDV platforms.
