Job description

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join a top-tier electronics testing organization. In this role, you will focus on refining manufacturing workflows, enhancing production scheduling, creating operational reports, and deploying data-centric strategies to boost throughput, decrease cycle times, and elevate overall delivery and efficiency., * Utilize Lean and Six Sigma principles to refine process capabilities, minimize waste, and increase throughput across our precision manufacturing facilities.

  • Create and oversee production scheduling logic and capacity models, working alongside Supply Chain and Planning departments to align output with market needs.
  • Build and manage Power BI dashboards and data visualizations using ERP, MES, SQL, and Snowflake data to deliver actionable manufacturing insights.
  • Drive structured problem-solving and root cause analysis while establishing standard operating procedures and documentation via Confluence and SharePoint.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Process Engineering, Operations, and IT/OT to foster better data integrity and improve manufacturing system performance.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering is mandatory, with a preference for candidates holding a Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Lean and Six Sigma techniques such as DMAIC, 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and statistical process documentation.
  • Proven background in utilizing MES, ERP systems, and data tools like SQL, Power BI, and Snowflake to manage capacity planning and shop floor data.
  • Technical proficiency in Wire EDM operations, CAM programming, and the interpretation of GD&T and engineering schematics to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical abilities to effectively communicate data-driven insights and collaborate across diverse engineering and operations teams in a high-mix environment.
