Database & Membership Operations Specialist

Every day is a little different, and your work will directly support thousands of members and help ensure our programs and events run smoothly.

What You’ll Do

Maintain and update member records within our association management system (iMIS)

Set up programs, events, and registrations

Process memberships, renewals, reinstatements, and account changes

Create reports, queries, rosters, and mailing lists

Manage group memberships and billing

Perform ongoing database cleanup and quality control

Support annual events, conferences, and renewal campaigns

Process imports, exports, and batch updates

Protect confidential information while maintaining data integrity

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Database & Membership Operations Specialist to join our team! If you’re someone who enjoys organizing information, maintaining accurate records, creating reports, and supporting members through a well-managed database, this could be the perfect role for you.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in membership organizations, nonprofit administration, CRM/database management, records management, billing, or high-volume data operations., * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• At least 2 years of experience working with large databases, CRM systems, records management, or high-volume administrative operations
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (sorting, filtering, formulas, data cleanup)
• Experience creating reports or running database queries
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
• Professionalism when handling confidential information

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience with iMIS, Personify, NetForum, Fonteva, or another association management system
• Membership association or nonprofit experience
• Billing, bookkeeping, or invoicing experience
• Experience with high-volume data processing or recurring database maintenance
