Data Architect

We are seeking a Data Architect to join our team. You will design and build relational and dimensional databases, translating business needs into scalable data architecture solutions. You will support data warehousing environments by developing acquisition strategies, optimizing data structures, and ensuring systems integrate efficiently. This position is fully remote; however, it will require frequent travel to Fort Belvoir, VA., * Database Design and Development: Creates relational and dimensional database structures, ensuring they align with long-term organizational data requirements.

• Data Warehousing Architecture: Develops data warehousing blueprints, designs data models, builds metadata repositories, and structures data for efficient management and access.
• Data Acquisition, Integration, and Recovery: Defines strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and integrates hardware and software platforms into cohesive database environments.
• Business-to-Architecture Translation: Translates organizational needs into sustainable data architecture solutions that support future scalability and analytics.
• Data Evaluation and Optimization: Assesses existing data for reusability, reviews models and metadata to refine structure, and improves system performance and accessibility.

• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with modeling tools (e.g., one or more of the following: ER/Win, Power Designer, ERStudio or other similar tools)

Preferred Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field of study.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess a DoD Secret clearance.
