Job description

Develop ETL workflows using Informatica for periodic data loads from source to target databases.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data workflows using Informatica and cloud-native tools.
Working closely with clients to assist in managing data needs and supporting collection of data needed for various operational needs.
Develop and optimize data integration solutions across multiple data sources.
Responsible for source code control using GitLab.
Demonstrate a strong practical understanding of application-relevant cargo and passenger data and databases used to support analytic application development, functionality and targeting end user (officer) operation.

Requirements

HS Diploma/GED and 20+ years or AS/AA and 18+ years or BS/BA and 12+ years or MS/MA/MBA and 9+ years or PhD/Doctorate and 7+ years
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the architecture, design and development of ETL programs using Informatica data integration tools; and at least 5 years’ experience in large (80TB+) and complex data warehousing architecture, design and implementation/migration.
Hands-on experience with Databricks.
Proven hands-on experience with ETL Migration Initiatives, especially moving Informatica workflows to open-source or cloud-native integration frameworks; strong understanding of ETL architecture, data integration patterns and relational data concepts.
Experience with one or more relational database systems such as Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, SQL server, etc. and experience with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, etc.
Knowledge of Continuous Integration & Continuous Development tools (CI/CD).
Must work well in a team environment as well as independently. Excellent verbal/written communication and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate information to a variety of groups at different technical skill levels., * Current/active secret or Top Secret clearance preferred.
Expert knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter version 9 and above.
Experience integrating Databricks with Git-based workflows in controlled network environments.
Solid background in Oracle database 23ai / 26ai preferably in Exadata environment with a focus on manipulating large volume data set.
Experience with Atlassian suite of tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Clearance Requirements:

Must be a U.S Citizen with the ability to obtain DHS CBP Suitability prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements:

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
