Software Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Java or C++ developer with web experience who can provide unaided support extending our cyber defense software solutions. We can’t disclose all the details about what we do here, but we can tell you they’re innovative, impactful, and something you’ll want to be a part of.

This full-time, remote position offers a flexible schedule and requires an individual capable of producing high-performance, reliable code across multiple programming languages.

Key Responsibilities

· Maintain and enhance existing systems and web-based applications

· Design and develop software solutions focused on network and communication security

· Troubleshoot and resolve software issues

· Participate in development planning (e.g., writing JIRA tickets, attending Agile meetings)

· Professional industry experience

· Experience developing system and web-based applications

· 1 or more years of experience in Java or C++ (or an equivalent language)

· Strong Linux operating system proficiency

· Familiarity with Git and version control best practices

· Working knowledge of web, database, and application servers

· Ability to self-manage, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

· Secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent program

· Proficiency in a Linux scripting language

· Experience with the following languages, libraries, and technologies: TypeScript (Angular or React), QT - C++, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Nginx - OpenResty.

· Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure, symmetric and asymmetric encryption

· Experience with a variety of Cloud Providers APIs and services (Amazon, Azure, Google, etc.)

· Linux networking experience
