Job description

  • Execute risk management framework-based cybersecurity projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely deliverables.
  • Execute project plans and track progress against milestones.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams where necessary
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices, including the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to the team lead.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Requirements

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Risk Management Framework (RMF) or similar cybersecurity frameworks. (a industry recognized certification may be accepted in lieu of 2 years of experience.
  • Working knowledge of FISMA/NIST regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The Work Environment:

This is a hybrid position where the majority of the work will be conducted at the incumbent’s personal office space and less than 30% intended travel to the client’s location. At either location, the incumbent will require extended periods of sitting, typing, and using a computer. When working at the client’s location, the incumbent will be working in an office environment, which may include moderate noise levels., * Must possess or be able to undergo and pass a background check resulting in a Public Trust.
