Job description

If you’re passionate about solving complex hardware problems and enjoy working in a hands-on engineering environment, this is an opportunity to make a real impact. We’re looking for an experienced BMC Firmware Engineer to support hardware validation, debug activities, and product bring-up for advanced computing platforms. You’ll work alongside talented engineers while playing a key role in delivering reliable, high-performance products from development through manufacturing. Every day presents new technical challenges, making this an ideal opportunity for engineers who enjoy troubleshooting, learning, and continuous improvement. Why This Opportunity Is Different Unlike highly specialized engineering roles where responsibilities are narrowly defined, this position offers exposure across the entire hardware development lifecycle. You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Work directly with experienced engineering leadership.
  • Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and global engineering teams.
  • Gain exposure to cutting-edge server and storage technologies.
  • Play an important role in product bring-up and manufacturing readiness.
  • Build valuable experience in both development and production environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform hardware testing, validation, and debug activities.
  • Set up hardware test and debug environments.
  • Support board bring-up and signal validation.
  • Analyze engineering issues and identify root causes.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to resolve technical problems.
  • Support manufacturing debug teams during production.
  • Measure and analyze electrical signals using laboratory equipment.
  • Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful product delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience with server, storage, or PC hardware architecture.
  • Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes and digital multimeters.
  • Experience performing hardware troubleshooting and board-level debugging.
  • PCB soldering and rework experience.
  • Manufacturing or product development experience.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Circuit board design experience is a plus.
  • Experience supporting hardware bring-up is highly desirable.

Benefits & conditions

  • Work with advanced server and hardware technologies.
  • Collaborate directly with engineering, manufacturing, and global R&D teams.
  • Competitive compensation based on experience with strong career growth potential
