Healthcare BI Developer

Position Overview: Insight Global is seeking a Power BI Developer to support enterprise reporting, analytics, and data modernization initiatives across clinical, operational, and business departments for a hospital system in Florida. This individual will play a key role in the organization’s ongoing migration from Tableau to Power BI while supporting reporting solutions built on Epic data platforms., * Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models.

• Support the migration of existing Tableau reports and dashboards into Power BI.
• Gather requirements from business users and translate them into reporting solutions.
• Design efficient and scalable data models to support enterprise reporting needs.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for reporting and analytics.
• Work with healthcare datasets to support clinical, operational, and financial initiatives.
• Analyze existing reports and identify opportunities for consolidation, automation, and improvement.
• Perform data validation and testing to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in user acceptance testing and production deployments.
• Document reporting solutions and development processes.

• 3+ years of experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Strong Power BI development experience including: Data modeling, DAX, Dataset design, & Dashboard development
• Advanced SQL development experience.
• Experience working with large datasets and business reporting environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in Sunrise, FL.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within a healthcare environment.
• Experience working with Epic reporting platforms, including: Epic Clarity, Cogito, Caboodle
• Experience supporting a Tableau-to-Power BI migration initiative.
• Experience partnering with operational and clinical stakeholders.
