Job description

We are seeking a Data Engineer with strong Python development experience to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions and data pipelines. You will work with modern data technologies to develop high-performance applications and support business-critical data initiatives in an Agile environment., * Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and applications.

  • Develop and maintain solutions using Python, SQL and Java.
  • Process, transform, and manage large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Optimize data workflows to improve performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in Data Engineering or Python development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python (mandatory).
  • Experience with Java.
  • Good knowledge of SQL, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
  • Understanding of data engineering concepts and software development best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.

Nice to Have: Scala, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), NoSQL databases, Git, and CI/CD.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field.

Please Note:

  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • Candidates are required to travel to London twice a week during onboarding and training.
  • Must be willing to travel or relocate within the UK based on client project requirements., * Bachelor’s (required)

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
