Job description
Reporting to the E-Commerce Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day performance of our Shopify website while identifying opportunities to increase traffic, conversion rates and revenue., Shopify Website Management
- Manage and maintain our Shopify website
- Optimise product categories and navigation
- Improve site merchandising and product visibility
- Manage homepage content and seasonal campaigns
- Ensure pricing and product information remain accurate
- Coordinate new product launches
Merchandising & Sales
- Improve product visibility through strategic merchandising
- Create cross-sell and upsell opportunities
- Monitor best sellers and identify slow-moving products
- Recommend product placement improvements
- Maximise Average Order Value (AOV)
SEO & Content Strategy
- Improve organic search rankings
- Optimise category and product pages
- Work with AI tools to create high-quality website content
- Identify opportunities for new landing pages and buying guides
Email Marketing
- Create and manage email campaigns
- Build customer journeys
- Analyse campaign performance
- Increase customer engagement and repeat purchases
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor Shopify and Google Analytics
- Report on KPIs including:
- Revenue
- Conversion Rate
- Traffic
- Average Order Value
- Best Sellers
- Customer Behaviour
- Produce weekly and monthly reports
- Use data to make commercial recommendations
Customer Experience
- Improve the online shopping experience
- Identify website issues and work with developers where required
- Monitor site speed and usability
- Continually improve conversion rates
Marketing
- Work alongside the marketing team
- Assist with Google Ads and paid social campaigns
- Liaise with influencers and brand partners
- Support promotional campaigns and seasonal activity
Requirements
You’ll be commercially minded, analytical and passionate about eCommerce.
Essential
- Minimum 2 years’ Shopify experience
- Strong understanding of Google Analytics
- Experience with SEO
- Excellent written English
- Strong Excel skills
- Highly organised
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Commercial awareness
Desirable
- Mailchimp or similar marketing platforms
- Google Ads
- Meta Ads
- Photoshop
- Canva
- AI tools such as ChatGPT
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
