Implementation Consultant

Katalyst Group is supporting a client standing up a new Sage ERP environment on an aggressive timeline. We are looking to engage a senior, hands-on finance leader to own execution from the inside. This is a high-impact interim role for someone who has previously driven ERP implementations as an internal accounting leader…holding vendors accountable, and ensuring the system supports real accounting workflows. This is a contract opportunity expected to run 3-6 months. What You’ll Do:

• Own day-to-day execution of a Sage ERP implementation from kickoff through go-live
• Act as the internal quarterback between finance leadership and the implementation partner
• Keep timelines tight, scope clear, and deliverables aligned to business needs
• Provide a practical “sanity check” on ERP design decisions

• Drive data readiness, UAT coordination, and go-live support, Leadership needs a trusted operator in the middle-someone who protects internal bandwidth, drives execution, and ensures the ERP works in practice, not just on paper. • Controller or senior accounting leader with hands-on ERP implementation experience
• Sage ERP experience strongly preferred (Intacct/X3/etc.); ERP ownership matters more than module specifics
• Action-oriented, direct communicator who can operate under pressure
• Comfortable pushing decisions and holding partners accountable
