We are looking for a visionary Robotics Architect to join our team and lead this exciting transformation., We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Robotics Architect to shape the future of horticulture automation. In this key role, you’ll lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge robotics solutions that will revolutionize farming practices. Your expertise will drive efficiency, sustainability, and increased productivity on greenhouses of all sizes.

What will you do?

  • Lead the architectural design and development of robotic systems for agricultural tasks such as planting, harvesting, crop monitoring, and precision spraying.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineering, software development, electrical engineering, and agronomy to integrate hardware and software components into cohesive robotic platforms.
  • Define system requirements, architectures, and interfaces based on understanding of agricultural workflows, environmental constraints, and end-user needs.
  • Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies, methodologies, and best practices in robotics, automation, machine learning, and sensor technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Work closely with product management and business development teams to translate customer requirements and market insights into actionable engineering plans and product roadmaps.
  • Lead technology evaluations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to inform strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Represent the company in industry conferences, technical forums, and collaborative research initiatives to build partnerships and establish thought leadership in Agritech space., * Introduction meeting at our office.

Requirements

  • You live in Europe and have a driver’s license.
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven track record of 3- 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying robotic systems, preferably in agricultural or related domains.
  • Strong expertise in robotics software development, including ROS (Robot Operating System), perception, motion planning, and control algorithms.
  • Proficiency in mechanical design and simulation and familiarity with principles of mechatronics.
  • Experience with sensor integration, localization, mapping, and navigation algorithms for autonomous mobile robots.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
  • Passion for agriculture, sustainability, and leveraging technology to address global food security challenges.
