Network Engineer

Inscribirse en esta oferta We are looking for an AI Consulting Engineer that is passionate about Machine Learning and Big Data technologies with solid knowledge of the Radio Access Network (RAN) technologies such as LTE, 5G and Open RAN. The AI Consulting Engineer is responsible for Use Cases delivery including data analysis, feature engineering, machine learning model training, and trouble shooting the data pipeline.

• Understand high level business process and translate it into suitable telco use cases with automation-by-AI strategies.
• Analyze and characterize heterogeneous datasets from multiple sources and/or verticals.
• Apply domain expertise and dataset knowledge for KPI definition and Feature Engineering.
• Define, implement and validate KPIs and features relevant to the AI model.
• Identify the most suitable AI technique to apply and fine tune model hyperparameters
• Identifies appropriate metrics for the business problem and optimizes AI model performance accordingly.
• Validate AI model predictions and generalization capability.
• Identifies weak points and improvement areas of existing models over time.
• Supports Data Engineering teams to define ETL strategies and configurations.
• Identifies new product features, usability improvements and requirements, collaborating with product development teams to specify them.
• Implement required changes in product configuration to deliver the project requirements.

• BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in 3G/4G RAN network optimization. Experience in 5G/Open RAN optimization will be considered as a strong plus.
• At least two years of experience in one or more programming languages (SQL, Python, R, and/or Scala).
• Relevant experience with Data Science tools such as Zeppelin, Jupyter, Pandas, Excel and SQL.

• Hands-on knowledge of Linux and shell commands. Required Soft skills

• Solid knowledge of the Radio Access Network (RAN) technologies such as LTE, 5G and Open RAN.
• Relevant experience with standard Machine Learning frameworks: NumPy, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, Spark MLlib…
• Knowledge of Open Source Big Data technologies: HDFS, HBase, MongoDb…
• Familiar with cloud frameworks and virtualisation: Docker and Kubernetes.
• Open and sharing environment where you will be exposed to bleeding edge technologies.
• Modern hardware like MacBook Pro and peripherals.
