Cybersecurity & IT Instructor - Remote, Online (Full Time)

• Develop up-to-date curricula for cybersecurity courses
• Deliver engaging and interactive cybersecurity instruction to students.
• Give instruction to help students prepare for diverse goals, including preparing for cybersecurity and IT careers and preparing for CompTIA certification.
• Provide guidance and support to students with varying levels of experience in tech and coding skills.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to aid in their development.
• Stay current with industry trends and continuously update course materials to reflect the latest advancements in cybersecurity.
• Utilize classroom experience to effectively communicate complex concepts and facilitate hands-on learning activities.
• Create course materials for self-paced cybersecurity classes

You should have proficiency in all of the following, as well as the ability to teach it to people without prior experience in the platforms or topics:

• Python for cybersecurity
• Networking and network modes
• Linux and Bash scripting
• AWS
• Digital forensics

Nice to have but not required:

• Python for data science
• Python for web development

You should also:

• Have at least three years of teaching experience in the subject matter
• Be available to teach three-month-long cohorts running weekdays (10am-5pm EST)
• Be proficient in teleconferencing software such as Zoom

$40 - $65 an hour - Full-time, Contract
