Job description

We are Anchor Point Studios and we’re looking for a QA Tester to help us build the future of mind-blowing video game entertainment for a new, innovative 3D action title. What You’ll Do: Discover and report bugs and issues with clear reproduction steps in the database Ensure defect fixes through regression testing Create, maintain, and execute test cases, plans, and procedures Work together within a team with other specialties, as well as QA peers and Leads Contribute and share knowledge of test proficiencies to optimize team effectiveness Review documents, requirements, and specifications to provide feedback Provide User Experience feedback Perform other tasks at the discretion of the QA Lead Become a domain expert on the area of the game you are assigned to Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies in video game testing.

Requirements

Previous experience in testing games, ideally AAA, ensuring high-quality standards across large-scale, complex game environments Love playing games with interests in many different genres and a passion for developing high-quality experiences. Keen attention to detail Ability to work independently & autonomously, as well as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Working knowledge of bug databases and test case management software Proficient with perforce or similar source control solutions Expertise with PC, Mobile, and Console hardware, tools, and troubleshooting Technically proficient and able to learn new systems quickly Strong written and verbal communication skills, Experience with Unreal Engine is highly desired but not required.
