Job description
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco enterprise networking, security, and cloud connectivity. The ideal candidate will design, implement, secure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, lead migration and hardware refresh projects, mentor junior engineers, and troubleshoot complex network issues. The candidate must have hands-on experience with Cisco technologies, routing protocols, Firepower, Cisco ISE, Cisco Nexus, and cloud networking solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Cisco network infrastructure.
- Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, and Cisco Catalyst Center.
- Manage Cisco Firepower, Cisco ISE, ASA, and AnyConnect security solutions.
- Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, and VPC.
- Implement secure network architectures using IPsec, SSL/TLS, and Zero Trust principles.
- Support Cisco Nexus data center networking.
- Configure cloud connectivity using AWS Direct Connect and Azure ExpressRoute.
- Manage VoIP infrastructure using SIP, H.323, MGCP, RTP, and SCCP protocols.
- Monitor network health using SolarWinds, NetFlow, SNMP, and Catalyst Center.
- Automate network deployments using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Lead network migrations, hardware refreshes, and disaster recovery planning.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide final-level technical escalation.
- Mentor junior engineers and assist with capacity planning and IT budgeting.
- Ensure network security, compliance, and high availability across enterprise environments.
