Job description

We are seeking a Robotics Metrics Infrastructure Engineer to deploy and enhance a Python-based metrics pipeline for robotics test data in AWS. You will build cloud infrastructure, extend data integrations, and support research teams with scalable tools., * Deploy the existing Python pipeline as an AWS Lambda.

  • Extend the pipeline to integrate with S3, W&B, and SQLite.
  • Build infrastructure using AWS CDK or Terraform (Lambda, S3, EC2).
  • Parse robotics run metadata and integrate it into the pipeline.
  • Set up an EC2-hosted database for data exploration.
  • Create documentation and onboard research teams.

Requirements

  • Strong Python development experience.
  • AWS: Lambda, S3, EC2.
  • Infrastructure as Code (CDK or Terraform).
  • Linux command-line experience (SSH, cron, tmux/screen).
  • Strong communication skills.

  • Docker
  • Weights & Biases (W&B)
  • ROS2
  • Time-series data

Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per year

Experience:

  • Python: 5 years (Preferred)
  • AWS Lambda: 3 years (Preferred)
  • ROS2: 2 years (Preferred)
