Job description

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Cloud IAM Engineer position! This is a 12 months + contract with potential to convert and will be remote in United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead the migration of platform infrastructure into Azure Cloud, architecting and deploying new virtual servers and containerized services to support the organization’s cloud transformation initiative
  • Design and implement automation solutions to streamline operational workflows and enhance efficiency while maintaining strict security standards and compliance requirements
  • Build and configure Linux-based servers and applications, ensuring optimal performance, security hardening, and seamless integration with existing infrastructure
  • Manage Identity and Authorization services including RSA Adaptive Authentication, PingFederate, and PingDirectory to maintain secure access control across enterprise systems
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, JavaScript, bash, and PowerShell to support deployment pipelines and operational tasks
  • Troubleshoot complex networking issues and system configurations, providing technical analysis and solutions for production and development environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare and execute test plans, complete debugging activities, and ensure smooth deployment of system enhancements
  • Direct and mentor less experienced team members on technical projects, providing guidance on best practices and architectural standards
  • Prepare clear technical documentation and specifications to support system design decisions and operational procedures

Requirements

  • 5+ years of systems analysis and application development experience, or demonstrable experience at a Senior Engineer II level
  • Strong expertise with Azure cloud services, including virtual servers, containerized services, and cloud-native architecture patterns
  • Proven experience with Identity and Access Management platforms, particularly RSA Adaptive Authentication, PingFederate, and PingDirectory
  • Solid Linux systems administration skills with the ability to build servers, manage configurations, and troubleshoot OS-level issues
  • Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, JavaScript, bash, and PowerShell for automation and integration work
  • Deep understanding of networking concepts and the ability to troubleshoot connectivity and infrastructure issues in complex environments
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting delivery timelines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience recommending and implementing technical solutions that align with business objectives
