Job description

Role: Mobile Application Developer (Kotlin Primary), We are seeking a talented Mobile Application Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin and Android application development as the primary skill, along with working knowledge of Swift and iOS development as a secondary skill. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, user-friendly, and high-performance mobile applications while supporting cross-platform mobile initiatives.

Day to Day job Duties:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
  • Build clean, scalable, and maintainable mobile solutions following Android best practices.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and backend services.
  • Develop responsive and intuitive mobile user interfaces.
  • Optimize applications for performance, security, and reliability.
  • Implement unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting for Android applications.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and release planning.

Requirements

  • Overall Experience: 6-9 Years

  • 5+ years’ experience in Kotlin and Android application development
  • 5+ years’ experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack components
  • 5+ years’ experience in REST API integration and JSON handling
  • 5+ years’ experience with local storage solutions such as Room, SQLite, or Shared

Nice to have:

  • Working knowledge of Swift and iOS development
  • Familiarity with UIKit and/or SwiftUI
  • Understanding of iOS application lifecycle and development fundamentals

Benefits & conditions

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $106,575.00 to $177,625.00. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
