ERP Functional Consultant DoD Financial Systems

We are seeking an experienced ERP Functional professional with extensive DoD Working Capital Fund (DWCF) and Air Force financial systems experience to support a large federal ERP modernization initiative., * Provide functional expertise for DoD Working Capital Fund and Air Force financial business processes.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and testing teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze business requirements and develop functional solution designs.
• Support backlog refinement and Agile sprint planning activities.
• Develop functional specifications, test plans, and detailed test scripts.
• Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End (E2E), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate business processes and ensure solutions meet operational requirements.
• Support production deployments, release activities, and defect resolution.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of ERP capabilities.

• 8 years of DoD Working Capital Fund (DWCF) experience.
• Extensive experience supporting ERP implementations or modernization efforts.
• Strong understanding of Air Force financial management and business processes.
• Experience working with DoD trading partners.

• Proven experience in:

• Functional Design
• Test Planning
• Test Script Development
• End-to-End Testing
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Release Support

Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with one or more of the following Air Force financial systems:

• D035J / FIABS
• SMAS
• GAFS BQ/BL

Experience supporting Air Force logistics, sustainment, depot maintenance, financial management, or ERP modernization programs is highly desirable.
