Job description

Design, implement, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Java code. Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code in accordance with company standards. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications. Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define, design, and ship new features. Identify and correct bottlenecks, and troubleshoot and debug complex issues. Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards. Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies.

Requirements

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Java Developer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation on a fully remote, full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented developer to contribute to high-impact projects within a collaborative and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, a proactive problem-solver, and adept at writing clean, maintainable code. You will play a crucial role in the entire development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment of sophisticated software solutions., Proven professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Java. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms or modern frameworks like Spring Boot. Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (e.g., Hibernate). Familiarity with build automation tools such as Maven or Gradle. Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. Proficient in developing and consuming RESTful APIs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team setting. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
