Job description

The Software Engineer will report to the Engineering Director., * You will partner with product managers and architects to translate requirements into scalable backend services for commerce and identity platforms.

  • You will develop cloud-native APIs and microservices using modern technologies for high-scale transactional systems.
  • You will contribute to architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and system evolution projects with us to improve reliability and security.
  • You will use AI-assisted development tools and automation frameworks to increase engineering velocity and troubleshoot production issues for our global platforms.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience programming in Java or Python
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Experience building backend services or APIs with relational or NoSQL databases in cloud environments
  • Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.
