Design Engineer III

Design Engineers contribute to the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects. Design Engineers work collaboratively with project teams, applying engineering principles to deliver high-quality solutions. They are expected to grow in their ability to manage tasks, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the firm’s technical excellence.

Essential Functions: include the following.

• Lead design efforts and oversee junior engineers.
• Independent decision making
• Communicate regularly with clients and vendors outside the office
• Participate in presentations such as public meetings.

• 5+ years of design experience
• Advanced design leadership
• Professional Engineering (PE) Registration preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in software such as CADD Based programs and systems, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
