Job description

  • Lead projects from initiation through completion while ensuring schedule, cost, and quality objectives are met.
  • Coordinate with Air Force personnel, DoD stakeholders, subcontractors, and technical teams to execute project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, work plans, and resource allocations.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate status updates, risks, and milestones to leadership and customers.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements.
  • Review project deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Support project documentation, presentations, and executive-level communications.
  • Coordinate peer reviews and facilitate project meetings with government stakeholders.
  • Assist with workload planning, process improvements, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Ensure successful execution of multiple concurrent projects while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of relevant project management experience (8+ years with a Master’s degree).
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Active DoD 8140 certification (Security+ CE or higher).
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Experience managing projects within Department of Defense or Air Force environments.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Air Force organizations.
  • Knowledge of military organizational structures and program management processes.
  • Experience with process improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Business development or customer engagement experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment., * IT project management: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • CompTIA Security+ (Required)
  • PMP (Required)
