Senior Analytics Engineer

• Partner closely with data engineers to design and construct transformation layers that serve as a definitive single source of truth for all downstream partners.
• Influence organizational decision-making by owning the end-to-end delivery of insights-from initial requirement gathering to data modeling and the development of high-impact dashboards and self-service tools.
• Act as the primary technical partner to business users, translating functional requirements into scalable, automated technical solutions.
• Develop artifacts that offer actionable insights to audiences of varying technical proficiencies, utilizing data narratives to influence corporate strategy.
• Design and implement core business metrics to automate operational reporting and facilitate deep-dive self-serve capabilities.
• Enhance existing infrastructure by integrating software engineering best practices, including versioning, modularity, and rigorous testing, into data models.

Plan A Technologies is looking for an experienced Senior Analytics Engineer. In this role, you will occupy a critical role in architecting and refining analytical infrastructure to unlock insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will lead the transformation of raw data into meaningful intelligence for stakeholders across the organization.

• Proven ability to build production-grade models within cloud data lakehouse environments (e.g., Databricks or Snowflake).
• Deep expertise in developing visualization and self-service architectures utilizing tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

• Demonstrated ability to engage directly with business users to identify areas where data can drive accelerated, informed decisions.
