Chief Technology Officer

We’re looking for a Head of Technology to unify Dassian’s Product Security, AI, Platform, and Development functions into a single organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is responsible for securing Dassian’s solutions, executing our AI strategy, providing the engineering capabilities that support internal tools and client delivery, and setting the technical direction for modernizing on and around SAP.

A core mandate is guiding Dassian’s platform strategy across SAP BTP, Clean Core principles, API-first integration, and partnerships with private and public cloud providers. You’ll shape the existing team into a high-performing technology organization, raising technical standards, hiring selectively where needed, and partnering closely with Delivery, Growth, and Customer Care to align technology investment with business priorities.

Initially, you’ll lead Product Security, AI, Platform, and Development directly. As the organization matures, dedicated Product Security and AI leaders will report into this role., Platform & SAP Strategy

• Define Dassian’s platform architecture, SAP BTP adoption, Clean Core strategy, and API-first integration approach.
• Lead the SAP modernization roadmap while partnering with hyperscalers to improve scalability and innovation.
• Drive technology investment decisions balancing SAP alignment, flexibility, resilience, and cost.

Product Security

• Own product security strategy, including secure-by-design architecture, secure SDLC, threat modeling, and secure coding standards.
• Lead vulnerability management, including SAST, DAST, dependency management, CVE remediation, and SAP Security Notes.
• Oversee security architecture across SAP, BTP, APIs, and cloud integrations.
• Support customer security reviews, audits, and compliance initiatives including NIST 800-171, CMMC, ITAR, and FedRAMP.

AI

• Execute Dassian’s AI strategy, including the A.I.M. (Align, Integrate, Multiply) Executive AI Operating Framework.
• Govern responsible AI adoption across internal operations and client delivery.
• Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions for AI technologies.

Engineering & Development

• Lead engineering strategy, architecture standards, technical hiring, code quality, and delivery execution.
• Ensure engineering practices align with secure development principles and business priorities.

Leadership

• Build and lead a unified Technology organization spanning Product Security, AI, Platform, and Development.
• Recruit and develop future Product Security and AI leaders.
• Advise the CEO on technology strategy while reporting progress on technology risk, delivery, platform modernization, and AI adoption.

• 8+ years of technology leadership experience.
• Experience leading software engineering, product/application security, and AI initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Clean Core principles, and API-based integrations.
• Experience with public and private cloud platforms and modern integration architectures.
• Demonstrated success building or restructuring technology organizations.
• Strong knowledge of secure software development, threat modeling, and application security.
• Excellent executive communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics into business outcomes., * Professional services or consulting experience.
• Experience building or scaling AI programs.
• Experience establishing secure SDLC and application security programs.
• SAP modernization or cloud migration leadership experience.
• Familiarity with SAP security, GRC, and government compliance frameworks (NIST 800-171, CMMC, ITAR, FedRAMP, SOC 2).
• Experience serving as a customer-facing technology executive.
