Job description

  • Configure, customize, and maintain LabWare LIMS solutions.
  • Design and implement laboratory workflows to improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and support LabWare APIs and system integrations.
  • Integrate LabWare LIMS with laboratory instruments, ERP, CRM, and enterprise applications.
  • Perform complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with laboratory stakeholders, business users, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory quality and regulatory standards.
  • Support software testing, automation, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Document technical designs, configurations, and operational procedures.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced LabWare LIMS Systems Engineer with extensive expertise in LabWare LIMS configuration, customization, integration, and support. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience working in highly customized LabWare environments and will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and enhancing laboratory information management solutions that support complex laboratory operations., * 10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on LabWare LIMS development, configuration, support, or architecture.

  • Advanced expertise in LabWare LIMS configuration, customization, scripting, and API utilization.
  • Strong experience designing and digitizing laboratory workflows.
  • Experience working in highly customized LabWare LIMS environments.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting complex LabWare LIMS issues.
  • Strong programming experience with:
  • Python
  • Java
  • JavaScript (Node.js/React)
  • SQL
  • Experience integrating LabWare LIMS with:
  • Laboratory instruments and sequencers
  • ERP systems
  • CRM applications
  • REST APIs
  • SOAP Web Services
  • JSON
  • XML
  • Knowledge of laboratory regulatory standards including GLP and/or ISO.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of software testing, automation, code quality, and linting tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in ambiguous environments., * Experience in Animal Health, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Clinical Laboratory environments.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or other relevant Business Analysis or Project Management certifications are a plus.
