Data Manager

Tekberry is seeking a Data Manager to support a leading academic medical research environment. This role is responsible for maintaining research databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and supporting oncology clinical research studies through detailed data management and documentation. The ideal candidate has experience working with clinical research data, electronic medical records, and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail. Responsibilities

• Enter, verify, and maintain research data with a high degree of accuracy.
• Develop and maintain databases, data collection tools, and documentation guidelines.
• Perform quality checks and audits to ensure data integrity and completeness.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
• Generate reports and manipulate complex datasets using appropriate software applications.
• Collaborate with clinical research teams to clarify data issues and ensure accurate documentation.
• Assist with maintaining study records and supporting research operations.
• Perform administrative and data management tasks as assigned.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and at least 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Approximately 1 year of experience in data management, clinical research, or healthcare data entry.
• Experience working with oncology clinical research.
• Experience using Epic electronic medical records.
• Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent computer, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting clinical research studies or academic medical centers.
• Experience maintaining research databases and ensuring regulatory data accuracy.
• Familiarity with oncology research workflows and study documentation.

Work Environment

• 100% onsite position in Palo Alto, CA.
• Standard Monday Friday business hours.
• Primarily desk-based work with extensive computer and keyboard use.
• Collaborative clinical research environment requiring strong communication and teamwork.
