Job description

We are seeking a skilled API Integration & Support Engineer responsible for end-to-end API implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. This role focuses on ensuring seamless connectivity between systems and applications through well-designed, secure, and reliable APIs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both API development and in diagnosing integration or performance issues across environments., * Provide technical support for clients, diagnosing and resolving integration issues

  • Collaborate with product teams to understand integration requirements and propose solutions
  • Document API workflows, integration processes, and technical specifications
  • Monitor API performance and implement optimizations for improved efficiency
  • Conduct testing and validation of API integrations to ensure functionality and reliability
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in API development and integration
  • Implement, configure, and maintain APIs across internal and external systems
  • Troubleshoot API connectivity, authentication, and data exchange issues between platforms.
  • Monitor API performance, logs, and error responses to identify and resolve root causes quickly.
  • Work closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve integration problems and ensure data consistency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in API integration and support roles
  • Solid understanding of web technologies (HTTP, XML, JSON, etc.)
  • Experience in version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.)
  • Experience integrating APIs with ERP, CRM, or eCommerce systems.
  • Proven experience in API troubleshooting, including analyzing logs, monitoring tools, and API traffic., * Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) for integration purposes
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Trello, etc.)
  • Certifications in API management or integration technologies, * Proficient in RESTful and SOAP API design and development
  • Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar
  • Strong understanding of API authentication and authorization methods (OAuth, JWT, etc.)
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, etc.) for automation tasks
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation
  • Knowledge of database management systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data mapping techniques
