Job description

  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using modern tools like Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Build and maintain large-scale Lakehouse and data warehouse systems for real-time and batch data processing.
  • Collaborate with business, design, testing, and development teams to shape data collection and usage strategies.
  • Implement data quality and governance standards to ensure high data integrity and security.
  • Support the development of state-of-the-art data models to facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Requirements

Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Software Database Engineer 2 to join their team. As a Software Database Engineer 2, you will be part of the Data Engineering department supporting data pipeline and analytics teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization., * 5+ years of experience with SQL and scalable ETL process design and implementation.

  • 3+ years of experience working with Big Data Analytics, including Data Lake, Spark, and formats like Parquet.
  • 2+ years of experience building cloud-hosted data systems, with a preference for Azure.
  • Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Spark.
  • Experience working with delta lake format and Azure Data Explorer/Kusto is a plus.
