Job description
- Collect, interpret, and analyse data related to project costs, labour efficiency, and material usage to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management.
- Analyse sales and client data to understand market trends, measure customer satisfaction, and support strategic planning.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to optimise pricing strategies, resource allocation, and operational workflows.
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to understand their data requirements and provide analytical support.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within our company systems, performing regular data cleansing and validation.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis software and tools, such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- A degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- A proactive and independent worker who can manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Experience within the construction or trade services industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
