VP, Corporate IT and Business Technology

As the Vice President, Corporate IT & Business Technology at Buildertrend, you’ll build the foundation that keeps our people productive, our systems secure, and our business ready to grow. You’ll partner across the business to improve processes, reduce risk, and ensure teams have reliable technology that helps them do their best work. Within your first year, success means a more responsive IT organization, stronger governance, and greater confidence in the systems that power the company., * Lead corporate IT operations, employee technology support, endpoint management, and enterprise systems administration.

• Build scalable processes for identity and access management, onboarding, asset management, and SaaS application administration.
• Strengthen security, compliance, governance, and business continuity practices through reliable operational execution.
• Partner with leaders across Legal, Finance, HR, Security, Engineering, and other teams to deliver secure and effective technology solutions.
• Guide the deployment and governance of AI tools by managing provisioning, access, security, and ongoing administration.
• Develop and coach the corporate IT team while improving service levels, accountability, vendor management, and operational performance.
• Embrace using AI as a tool to enhance your work, while remaining open to learning, applying critical thinking, and owning the quality of your final work.

• 10 or more years of experience leading corporate IT, business technology, or IT operations, preferably within a scaling SaaS or technology company.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms, identity and access management, endpoint management, security operations, and employee technology support.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk, compliance, privacy, and vendor management practices.
• Experience leading technical teams while remaining comfortable contributing hands-on when needed.
• Strong communication, business partnership, and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
