Systems Administrator

EMPIGO Technologies is seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work with both standard user driven systems, and enterprise-level systems while making a meaningful impact on our clients’ success. You will be the “Swiss Army knife” of the organization. You’ll support clients, manage infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance across platforms. • Administer and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, and Azure environments
• Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues
• Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Maintain system documentation and develop operational procedures
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams on technical projects
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs)

Technical Focus Areas

• Windows and Mac OS troubleshooting and administration
• User account and security policy management
• Network performance monitoring and resolution
• Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Cloud services and infrastructure (Azure, Microsoft 365), * Are there any schedules/shifts that you are unable to work (normal/swing/graveyard, days of the week/weekend/travel)?

• 4-6 years of experience in systems administration and IT support
• High school diploma with relevant experience, OR Associate’s degree in IT-related field, OR relevant professional certifications
• Proven success in managing enterprise-level systems and networks

Certifications

• CompTIA A+ (required) or equivalent demonstrated experience
• CompTIA Network+ or Security+ (preferred)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or similar (a plus)
