Job description

Capgemini is hiring a Solution Architect responsible for leading solution architecture, design, and delivery alignment across enterprise platforms. This role focuses on defining effective technology solutions to complex business problems while leveraging existing systems, enterprise capabilities, and industry best practices.

The Solution Architect will partner with Delivery and Sustainment teams, along with Shared Services (QA, DevOps, etc.), to ensure alignment of architectural solutions with business goals. The role requires deep technical expertise and the ability to operate in complex, integrated, and mission-critical environments.

Your role

  • Lead solution architecture design and define scalable, efficient, and reliable technology solutions
  • Coordinate delivery estimates across solution, infrastructure, and data domains
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Partner with Delivery, QA, DevOps, and shared services teams to ensure alignment and successful execution
  • Conduct architecture discussions and independently facilitate meetings with business and technical teams
  • Present solutions, architecture designs, and recommendations to executives and leadership
  • Work closely with offshore teams, including managing and assigning tasks
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Business Analysts to define scope and delivery estimates
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and best practices

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Solution Architecture and Design
  • Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, XML, JSON
  • Experience working with open-source frameworks and technologies
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) including epics, stories, and task-level planning
  • Proven experience in cloud-first and hybrid cloud architectures
  • Familiarity with design patterns and architecture principles
  • Experience with Java web services and Microservices architecture
  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in complex, heterogeneous technology environments
