Sigma Report Developer

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sigma Report Developer to join our data engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive reporting solutions using Sigma and related data tools. Your expertise will enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions by transforming complex data sets into clear, actionable insights. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge big data systems, cloud platforms, and business intelligence tools to deliver impactful reports and dashboards that support strategic initiatives across the organization., * Develop and optimize Sigma reports, dashboards, and visualizations that meet business requirements and enhance decision-making processes.

• Design robust data models and schemas aligned with dimensional modeling principles for efficient data warehousing and reporting.
• Build and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines utilizing tools such as Informatica, Talend, or custom scripting in Python, Bash, or Shell Scripting to ensure accurate data integration from various sources including SQL databases, Oracle, Hadoop, Spark, and cloud platforms like Azure Data Lake or AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and implement scalable solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Manage query optimization and performance tuning for large-scale SQL databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and cloud-based data warehouses to ensure timely report delivery.
• Integrate linked data sources and develop RESTful APIs for seamless data access across applications.
• Support the development of advanced analytics models through model training techniques while ensuring proper data management practices are followed.

• Proven experience in software development with a strong background in data engineering, business intelligence tools, and analytics.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL databases including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and cloud databases such as Azure Data Lake or AWS.
• Extensive knowledge of big data systems like Hadoop, Apache Hive, Spark, and related technologies for processing large datasets.
• Demonstrated ability to design effective data models using dimensional modeling techniques for data warehousing projects.
• Proficiency in ETL pipeline development using Informatica, Talend, or similar tools along with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Public Cloud environments), including AWS or Azure Data Lake services.
• Experience working with business intelligence tools like Looker or similar visualization platforms to create insightful dashboards.
• Strong analysis skills combined with database design expertise to support complex queries and report generation.
• Knowledge of RESTful API development for integrating various systems and enabling real-time data access.
• Ability to work effectively within an Agile methodology while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
